HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY MANAGER
An exciting opportunity currently exists to join our clients team, they are an expanding company specialising in the supply of Marine and Environmental services.
As Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, your prime objective will be to successfully lead the development and implementation of an integrated quality, environmental and safety management system for our Group of Companies.
The ideal candidate will be an active and influential communicator with a focused attitude and will have the required demonstrable experiences in the following areas:
Provision of credible, supportive and advisory service to Management throughout our organisation.
Establishing audits and inspection programmes, ensuring all activities align with our Group HSEQ policy.
Responsibility for ISM compliance for vessels and associated assets.
Provision of management information and statistics and ensuring robust reporting regimes are in place to support statistical data collation.
Supporting behavioral culture change programmes
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE
Possession of NEBOSH Diploma Part 2 or equivalent minimum
Chartered membership of IOSH
Accredited ISO lead auditor
In-depth knowledge and understanding of all current HSE legislation, including the CDM Regulations
A good understanding of ISM requirements and how these align with ISO9001
A flexible, collaborative and proactive working attitude is required to contribute to the continuous improvement and development of HSEQ policy and procedure within our Group.
This role will encompass regular travel with a necessity for remote working over sustained periods.
